MomaSideBike

I'm Paulo Galego, I will be your host and private guide on the wonderfull journey to discover the history of Portugal and the glamour of the Alentejo region. My goal is to provide great moments of hapinness, share experiences, where you will discover our popular wisdom, culture, history, gastronomy, astonishing landscapes, ultimately a perfect ride for your holidays.

I had a degree in History (Arts and Heritage), with some experience in the various aspects of Museology, from research, inventory, elaboration of several historical articles, and guided trilingue tours (Portuguese, English and Spanish) at the Military Museum of Elvas (Portuguese Army).
With this project, I intend to continue my passion for history, to investigate and contribute to a better cultural enjoyment of our rich heritage.

Mash Family Sidecar

The Mash Family Side “is the first in series Euro 4 production of the sidecar worldwide”. It is a sidecar approved for three passengers. The center of base is the Mash Five Hundred, so the sidecar is propelled with the single cylinder four stroke electronic injection engine and 397 cc as already seen in the retro. That means that it has an output in horsepower of 27.6 hp at 7,000 rotations and 31 Nm on a maximum torque at 5,500 rpm, weight of 260 kilos including the tank of 13 liters. The Sidecar has an adjustable FAST ACE steering damper, a 41 mm diameter fork (in the Five Hundred it is 35 mm), and thicker rear shock absorbers. It also has a sidecar trunk, reinforced tires for more safety, which have been equipped with a new brake system to stop the motorbike and sidecar related sets safely of course, due to the increasing of the weight and the introduction of a disc for each wheel and a direct connection between the rear wheel of the motorcycle and the basket together with the upholstered seat in leather, seatbelt and a generous windshield.
